The true experience of the house is being on the island, the surrounding waters and the tranquil views this location provides. The house sits on one of the slender parts of Stocking Island, so it only takes steps to be on the Atlantic side of the island and watching the sun rise or relaxing on the dock watching the sun set over the lagoon and island. The property has a spacious, screened in porch that will be the main dining area for your group and also overlooks the lagoon for some fantastic sun set views.
While you enjoy a day on the white sand beach facing the Atlantic or swim and snorkel in the clear beauty of the lagoon, the ultimate relaxation spot is the Look Out. Our hill top gazebo gives you unprecedented views morning, noon or night over the island and Elizabeth Harbor. We have designed this area to accomodate the entire group to really give everyone the true appreciation of living in a Bahamian paradise. It really is somewhere special to enjoy a morning coffee, afternoon lunch or evening cocktails as you take pictures of the sunset. Located on the highest point of the property there is typically a lovely breeze coming off the ocean to help enjoy the time outside.  Yes…. there is even Wifi at the Look Out so you can bring your "tunes" and post your pictures immediately.

Things to do, its why you came to Paradise. The Lagoon at the house is a very calm clear water area, which is fantastic for casual Kayaking, Snorkeling or Paddle Boarding. If a day on the beach with food service is desired, we have secured access for you at the Peace & Plenty Beach Club, right on the other side of the lagoon. You can Kayak or catch the Kahari shuttle right over to the Beach Club. Also there is another day time hot spot called the Chat N'Chill beach bar, just a little way away at the entrance of the lagoon. You can kayak and paddle board there if you like, or even walk/swim over in minuets. A great Dinner option is also across the lagoon at The Beacon Restaurant at Kahari Resort, where you can enjoy delicious meals with a Caribbean flare. There are also some very interesting nature walks set up through the uninhabited South End of the island for you to explore. If a 15 minute or over an hour walk is what you want, there are multiple options to do, going around several different beaches and coves on Stocking Island.  The beach on the Atlantic Side is also over 2 miles long which is also perfect for walks or runs.
